Hot Rocks media advisory and press release

    Media Advisory:

    About Hot Rocks:

There is one major reason why Hot Rocks stands out from other tribute bands. Singing “Start Me Up,” moving exuberantly around the stage, this tribute band actually looks like the Rolling Stones.

Although the wardrobe is fashioned to the Rolling Stones, the resemblance between lead singer Robert Wotherspoon to Mick Jagger and lead guitarist Gerry Parsons to Keith Richards is uncanny. Wotherspoon’s thin frame and big lips match Jagger himself, as do Parsons’ teased hair and mischievous smirk to legendary Richards.

Claimed the “Most Look A Like Mick Jagger In The World,” Robert Wotherspoon works on Test the Nation for CBC Television and contributes to their Saturday morning radio show. But when Wotherspoon leaves the building of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, he throws on a pair of tight black jeans and prances around a stage singing Rolling Stones classics.

Hot Rocks has performed in Canada, the United States and South America. On June 5th, the band will perform at Park Playhouse & Performing Arts Centre in Cobourg, Ontario. Don’t miss the opportunity to compare Hot Rocks to the real deal!

    Press Release:

Robert Wotherspoon attends black tie functions and works on CBC Television’s Test The Nation. But when Wotherspoon leaves the building of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, he throws on a pair of tight black jeans and calls himself “Mick Jagger.”
